  3. Walk-around inspection: operators perform daily checks with a provided checklist.
  4. Practical operating course: traveling, turning, stacking to height, precision placement, shutdown.
  5. Written test & debrief: missed questions reviewed, improvement plan noted.
  6. Documentation: sign-in, tests, evaluations, certificates and wallet cards delivered.
Deliverables: sign-in sheets, written tests, practical evaluations, certificates/wallet cards and supervisor checklists—with optional annual reminders for refreshers.

FAQ

How long does training take?

Most groups complete classroom + hands-on in half a day; larger or multi-equipment groups can be split across shifts.

Do new hires and temps need the same process?

Everyone who operates a powered industrial truck should be evaluated and trained for your site and equipment.

Can we include pedestrian awareness?

Yes—dock traffic, pedestrians, spotter communication, blind corners and high-bay racking are common modules.
